Work on our hardest client problems, side by side with the CEO
Our clients come to us for operating engagements, sell-side transactions, and acquisitions and integration. You will be in the middle of that work: managing engagements, building the analysis behind our advice, and helping clients build and prove enterprise value. You report to Ann Marie Moorman, our Chief of Staff, and work very closely with Michael Crafton, our Founder and CEO.
What a real week looks like
- Run the status update for a client engagement and keep its plan, owner list, and decision log current.
- Build a model or memo, take it to finished quality, and get it through Michael's review with few corrections.
- Update the integration tracker and the Day 1 and Day 100 checklists on an acquisition we support, and raise open issues before they go late.
- Trace a figure in a client fact book back to source before it goes to buyers.
- Sit with Ann Marie to set the CEO's weekly priorities and keep the decision log current.
What you will own in your first 90 days
- Day-to-day management of one or two client engagements, with Michael reviewing deliverables.
- The decision log and status cadence for your engagements.
- Enterprise value analysis for at least one client.
Who you are
ExperienceAt least 2 years of full-time experience in consulting, banking, corporate strategy, corporate development, or a similar analytical role. A college degree is welcome but not required.
- Someone with at least two years in consulting, banking, corporate strategy, corporate development, or a similar analytical role who wants real responsibility on live deals and engagements.
- You build and check a model, and you can write a clear one-page answer.
- You are hungry to grow, and you own results, not just tasks.
- You are trusted with confidential client, financial, and deal information.
- You make the team better: easy to work alongside, quick to help, and good company on a long day.
- M&A, private equity, or integration exposure is a plus, not a requirement.
No AI agent experience required. We will teach you to run AI tools like Claude and Grok.

The pace is quick, priorities shift, and you will learn a lot, fast. This role is in our office at 6332 Guilford Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220, every day, Monday through Friday. It is not remote or hybrid.
The long-term path is to lead and manage clients directly. There is no fixed timeline; scope grows as it is earned and is discussed at each review. AI strategy and client AI training sit with our separate AI Strategist role.
Pay and benefits
- $70,000 to $85,000 annual base salary, depending on experience
- Discretionary annual bonus

- Full-time, in our office at 6332 Guilford Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
